Quick update
I’m currently about halfway through Endymion and there was something really fun/interesting that I picked up on when I first started reading it.
As you may know (or not), I am 26 years old as of writing this. I am working at some whatever jobs doing fuck all and just living my life. Interestingly, Raul (the protagonist of the book) at the beginning is just some 27 year old dude who was living his life. For some reason, that really resonated with me. Even though, Raul is not real and the story is just some made up bullshit some guy thought would be cool to write down. It resonated.
I think what I mostly found interesting or what made it resonate with me is that I apparently bought this book on 26-08-2022. That is basically 4 years ago. My living situation was not much different from what it is now but my life still was a lot different from what it is now. Yet somehow, this book is only read now when it seems to be most “impactful” for lack of a better word.
I think I bought the book to read it that same year but life happened and for whatever reason it got thrown on the pile of TBR. I did not read a single line of the book and I think I didn’t read it before because some people online said it wasn’t that good (they were wrong).
So….yea not sure what my point was with this post. I just had this bouncing in my head for a while now and it seems appropriate to leave it here.
That will be all.
Have a nice day and much love, Ty.
