Evening Vibes

The evening right now seems so amazingly calm. I love this time of the year but also hate it…or at least don’t like the memories I’ve made during them in recent years.
The sun has set. It is nice and dark. The only thing lighting the streets are the cars, streetlights, and the lights of homes and nightshops. On occasion the metro drives by on its own elevated road/bridge-thingy. God it almost makes you want to live here. Almost. This is what I imagined while reading Snowcrash. This is what Hiro saw on some of his pizza runs working for the pizza mafia (I forgot the name).
Maybe I’ll go for a walk in the city one of these nights. It sucks that these types of nights only really happen during the weekend. Specifically for this vibe it mostly only happens on a sunday night. So, it really conflicts with me wanting to just stay home before bed. I guess that is just something I’d have to accept.
The city really is something else. It has some kind of different energy to it that pulls all in it. It feels almost fantastical in a way. Even if it mostly fills with sin, greed, and misery. There is also so much fun, joy, and comradery. Maybe it is just the car fumes going to my head or maybe the concrete jungle truly is our evolutionary step in enviroment creation. If so, I sure hope we quickly evolve away into something a bit nicer looking than whatever is going one with the grid layout in america lol.
That’s all. Much love, Tyty :-*
